MINI BASKET – BASKETBALL ADAPTED TO THE AGE CATEGORY

A program, that is being carried out under the professional direction of RADE GEORGIJEVSKI, makes use of the most up-to-date methodological processes, along with the use of any and all possible existing props, in order to assist and contribute to the maximum development of a child and its basketball skills.

Teaching children that basketball is a relatively simple game in which two things are important: to score a basket and to keep the other team from scoring, and its basic principles such as shooting, passing, dribbling, and guarding the ball—in a way that is simple, easy, and clear is a demanding and painstaking job.

As part of the new methodological methods, everything is suited to the children’s age, utilizing the activity that is the most familiar to and simplest for children of that age to adopt with props that also follow the age, baskets of varying heights, and ball sizes, a love for this sport is fostered.

Children learn best when presented with age-appropriate material. Time spent actively using it, a key aspect in their growth, should be maximized, as should effort put into learning and adapting to new elements. It is much easier to develop and build on a sound foundation.
